Working previously as an architect and designer, Terry Trickett has now become a Digital Artist exhibiting artworks and videos worldwide and performing ‘visual music’ at various New Media festivals.

He has embraced the techniques of programming and extended his skills in producing moving images as a complement to musical performance. By calling on his skills as a clarinettist, Terry Trickett’s rendering of various compositions is matched by the simultaneous projection of his visual interpretations of the pieces being played. Such videos, displaying a close affinity between music and imagery, have led to public performances of 'visual music'.

Such performances have taken place, in June 2012, at the 3rd Annual International Conference on Visual and Performing Arts held in Athens and during a concert of Visual Music, In October 2013, at St James Theatre, London SW1. Future performances are scheduled for later this year at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, and at the Electronic Visualisation of the Arts conference, also in London.

Terry Trickett’s video, Cavalcade, was featured earlier this year at the Reykjavik Visual Music festival – Punto y Raya.
