Live Mapping Contest | 21:40 – 21:50 Friday 8 June
Our mapping performance is based on abstract generative content that we create using TouchDesigner, as well on hand drawings that we combine with the 3D techniques in order to create visually surprising layerings. We like to explore beyond the limits of just one style and have the courage to use the mapping screen as one big canvas rather than one big cinema screen.

Aural Eye is a small visual exploration studio set up in 2016 by Daniel Bega, Alina Anca and Răzvan Pascu in Bucharest, Romania. The environment through which the three artists are most often expressed is that of video-mapping, but their portfolio now includes many interactive installations, generational explorations, video productions and inter-disciplinary adventures that are at the limit of current technical possibilities, all intertwined by the desire to use synesthesia as a sensory instrument that helps deepen the knowledge of the world.
