Martin Romeo is a visual and multimedia artist currently in residence at Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa in Venice. Born in Carrara (Italy) in 1986, he lived in Buenos Aires for a few years and came back to Italy in 1999. He took part to several festivals like Kernel Festival in Milan and Media Mediterranea 14 in Croatia. His works have been exhibited at Civic Modern Art Museum Revoltella in Trieste, in Maribor (Slovenia) European capital of culture 2012, and at some prestigious biennials like the 54.International Art Exhibition in Venice, within the Italian pavilion in Porto Vecchio (Trieste) and at the 15th Biennale de la Mediterranee in Thessaloniki (Greece). Artistic director of Toolkit Festival (Venice, 2011-2012), at its third edition this year, he managed to create an important meeting point for interactive art in Italy.
