[Text available only in English] I spent quite some time last year circuit bending a Sony Playstation 2 to turn it into a crazy audiovisual Synthesizer. I would like to give a bit of a talk about how I did it and show what kind of visuals and sounds can be achieved with it. And how you could do this yourself, if you're crazy enough.

- Simon Schäfer is an interdisciplinary artist from Leipzig, Germany.
He studied Sculpture and Media Art at HfG Offenbach, holds an MA in sculpture from the Royal College of Art in London, and learned a lot about experimental electronics and circuit bending in the Internet.
His practice covers a wide range of expressions: objects and installations, music, performance, video, immersive experiences and theatre. Whatever feels necessary at any given time.
