_ema is a Bogota based audiovisual collective formed by Arturo Betancourt,Juliana Castro Duperly and Nicolas Sanchez active since 2013 where it's main course of action is live audiovisual performances. We try to create new experieces drawn from various concepts where video and sound are always performed live. Every _ema proyect has a common denominator, this being the glitch aesthetic because we think that in some way it highlights the fragility and nostalgia of the digital image.
