EMC is a project of Eric Bonnafous, Video artist, and for the soundtrack a posthume collaboration with J Rob (Jean Robert Dondin).
The project, NYC Streets, was initially created in Manhattan, New York, taken from a single improvised 50-minute shot.
The set up for the shoot was Eric Bonnafous riding a bike with one hand, and a 4K phone camera as a moving third eye in the other hand. The artist's designs always start with a video capture that he then shapes to the limits of perception thus creating images that fall between reality and abstraction.
The soundtrack is edited with a combination of compositions and mixes live from J Rob, from ambient experimental to techno, and some additional sound from "AES Dana" ; "Ancient Method" ; "The Herbalizer".
