"flor" is an interactive audiovisual installation. flor is a machine that takes the form of a flower to be attractive to visitors. she needs their movement to stay alive, so her objective is to dialog and mantain the longest possible visitor inteacting with her.it is programmed on a finite state machine algorithm, on VVVV and SuperCollider3. detects prescence and movement with a standard webcam. and is a homage to "the Great Glass" of Marcel Duchamp, in the sense of a seduction machine.it has been exhibited in r4wb1t5 festival in Chicago, 2006.
