In the workshop, the participants will be able to compose their own musical sound space based on some musical bases and then layering the surrounding sound ecosystem as well as their own personal taste, from ethereal ambience to powerful cyberpunk sound, achieving a complete short piece ready to be presented at main venue as a summary of achievements.
There are no restrictions on the use of personal equipment, also there will be resources to make soundwalks with field recordings of the surroundings and the meeting itself.
There are 4 sessions of 3 hours each in the classroom and with short surrounding soundwalks to make field recordings.
No prior knowledge or special equipment is necessary, but if you have a field recorder, cell phone, or even a camera, it can be a big help. Bring your headphones! Computer, tablet or even cell phone are welcome as the main DAW workstation.
