ANDYPOP > DJ, speaker, promoter and journalist specializing in hip hop, urban beats and electronics, Andypop moves for years in the Italian underground. After playing for years funk, rare grooves and electro, drum'n'bass married in 1998, selecting it in all its forms (ragga-jungle, jump up, liquid funk) but favoring his darker side and hyperkinetic. His plays range from drum'n'bass to hip hop, through dubstep, electro, detroit techno and IDM. On some of the most prestigious Italian urban magazines, wrote several articles and interviews on deejing and street culture. Has the honor to interview two international icons of contemporary rhythmic music such as DJ Premier (for Basement) and DJ Hype (for Defrag Magazine). Currently working with ALIAS, the weekly Il Manifesto, for which he wrote the first article on an Italian newspaper on the emerging Dubstep scene Anglo-Saxon.
