Shadows
is an interactive audio-visual installation based on video coding using Visual Secret Share System (VSS). It examines the possibilities of video coding on pixel basis. Each pixel of each frame of the 1-bit video is handled separately and coded with VSS, where the result is 2 noises from each frame. To decode the video, coded pixel must match its relevant.
Audio is coded with mechanisms of advanced sound engineering and also divided into two shadows which should be overlapped. To decode, both video and audio they must match accurate.
It's work-in-progress project in co-operation with Jedrzej Rusin aka LazyLab. To be developed to handle color video.
Shadows was exhibited in March 2010 at MuseumsQuartier in Vienna (Austria).
