Originally from a small city called Dunedin found at the bottom of the south Island in New Zealand - where dance music was almost illegal due to the domination of college radio stars from labels such as 'FLYING NUN' ie The Chills, The Verlanes, The Clean, 3-D's, The Gordons et al.

While studying a psychology and design double degree did a radio show at the University station RADIO1 - playing electronica/techno where ever possible.
