EQ-AV @ version 2.0 introduces new elements, mainly a secondary VGA feed (dual output via matrox dualhead) representing all controller action in trealtime via over 100k of custom code in Processing, a shift away from the traditional liveact+visual continues even further.
Main feed displays video frames, taking us back tu the space at which selected section of audio samples were captured, which makes EQ-AV a truly immersive audiovisual experience. Through repetition and filtering, the same phrase can be experienced in many different ways, radically changing the context - sound from any random clip of video can be transformed into hypnotic techno music and meaning of original clip gets dissolved and seems to disappear until the loop window is moved again.
This time leaving all the synths and drum machines in the studio, zambari performing EQ-AV will focus on what gave the project it's name, looping a short selection of audiovisual samples, and discovering patterns by changing spectral characteristics of their sounds.

- Zambari started making 3D animations and music around 98 (using DOS version od 3DS, Autodesk Animator and FastTracker II). On his way to 2011 he's been experimenting with a variety of tools and forms, but his main focus since 2007 has been the EQ-AV project which can be treated as a result of countless evenings and weekends wasted on creating thousands of clips and audio loops of of which only a handful has ever been played to anyone.
