Roberto Memoli (1989) Visual and sound artist.

He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino. During the academic years, he attended courses and seminars at ISIA in Urbino and at the LEMS - electronic music laboratory - at the Rossini Conservatory of Pesaro. From 2011 to 2013 he was member and coordinator of the project “Ur.L.O. Urbino Laptop Orchestra“, a work based on improvisation and direction of an electronic orchestra. In 2013 he founded with the VJ Luca Moroni the AudioVisual project “K-Sine” hosted, from 2013 to 2016, in several festivals including Robot Festival of Bologna (IT), Transient Festival of Paris (FR). At the same time, he carried out projects under the pseudonym Nero.txt. In 2017 he began working on a new solo production that tries to combine contemporary art and electronic music. The scope of the research has abstract noise / lo-fi influences, trying to explore the noise component and reasoning on the concept of limit and attention to detail. He carries on projects that have an attitude toward visual arts, graphics, electronic music and environmental installations. Recently he has participated in some artist residencies and some of his works have been performed in different places dedicated to art. Among these, the Luigi Pecci Center for Contemporary Art in Prato. He is currently carrying around his new AV project together with VJ artist Marco Santoro.
