Marta Rocamora (AKA Rocamorart) is a visual artist with a background in drawing and painting. “In my mind’s eye, I see everything I draw dancing to music, and so my practise has focussed on finding ways to convey this illusion of movement on paper and canvas,” she says. These explorations led her to study video editing to create music videos. She also Vjays under the moniker of VJ Voleo since 2019. She recently studied projection mapping with Vj ElectroIMan of Darklight Studio (Barcelona) and Blanca Regina (Ugly Duck, London). Her current work explores the possibilities of combining projection mapping, drawing and music to create a multisensory narrative that hopes to instill wonder on those who encounter her work.
