The Acatlome Window is based on a polyptych that exists from a relationship as simple as it is complex of different artistic techniques, integrating its elements in a projected structured window format that emulates one that for decades was embedded in an old room at the foot of the Acalome River. . , a river that used to be mighty and is now dying the kind of death that steals vitality from life little by little each day. A cracked window that now travels to coexist with the human by showing the environment it used to inhabit, that of the river and the reedbed (acatl in náhuatl), of feeling the water, the stones, of observing and listening, of the encounter with different living beings.
Macrophotography coexists in the window, capturing the miracle of landscapes and small beings; the sumi-e painting and its water base that illustrates the reed, the acatl that borders the river, a strong, resilient reed that does not bend easily; The Kintsugi that does not hide the defects and cracks, accentuates and celebrates them, reconstructs, resignifies..., helps those who perform it to transcend the cracked, the broken of what was valuable, to discover that it continues to be so. Furthermore, from its quick response codes, an audiovisual universe is displayed through cinematography, sound art and text.
