Experimenting different ways of exploring and recognizing faces. The following project seeks to deconstruct and reconstruct faces, using different materials and varying the applied methods. Testing different approaches to facial recognition and using a self-made scanner to produce three dimensional models of different faces, then turning them into 2D maps. By turning 3D facial models divided into same numbers to multiple triangles, which were printed onto a 2D sheet afterwards. The outcome of this approach is a "2D puzzle" map of the face that does not show any usual features of the human face. Through this method, I want to explore other ways of identifying a human face without including ethnicity ,gender ,or beauty standards.
