Immersive Cinema is an emerging non-profit organization devoted to the advancement of multi-screen audio-visual performance and exhibition. First established in January 2012, it runs through the volunteer play of dedicated filmmakers, musicians, actors, multimedia artists, and project coordinators.

Our first production, "Why Stop Painting?" premiered in London's P3 Gallery in June 2012. Featuring six projections and four audio channels, it encourages members of audience to view different aspects of the story from various parts of the arena. This format allows viewers to roam about and creatively engage with a multi-linear narrative. Please feel free to view a demonstration of this project on our website: www.immersivecinema.co.uk />
Now that our latest project is developing in California, we would very much like to share our work with other creatives of North and South America who may travel to participate in LPM Mexico City. Our work will now require the help of more tech-savy video engineers through the duration of its filming. Using 3D projection mapping technology, we've devised a way to project one video upon two screens bent at a right angle, which will allow us to create a 12 screen viewing arena using only six HD projections output from two standard Macbook Pros. With 12 projections seamlessly running HD video, we aim to create a three-room chamber that would involve its audience in a highly immersive, tri-linear story.

Our project showcase would thus consist of a short demonstration of our last performance, describing both our intentions and the technical execution of this work (roughly 15 min). And for the latter half we would like to share our latest project in detail, and conclude with an open discussion over how we may develop our future ideas.
