From its origins the human being has been the creator of its own success and tragedy. His ability to reason and develop tools brought infinite possibilities of benefit or prejudice, both for himself and for the universe around him. In this sense "Aiapæc", the principal deity of the pre-Columbian cosmogony of northern Peru, is an analogy of the problem between man, creation, nature, his own intelligence and his experience in the world. Within his personality are encompassed the two greatest forces of the universe: creation and destruction, success and failure, pleasure and pain, being the receptacle of both. "Aiapæc" (directly related to the sea) was supplier, protector and father; At the same time of enemy, destroyer and judge Is not the human also said things for himself? Aiapæc is an audiovisual performance operated by the artist in real time that refers us to the duality of the human being and his experience in the world; Drawing a parallel between this and one of the most important figures of the Peruvian pre-Columbian pantheon.
