During the 4 days with the guide of the 4 tutors of the workshop we will investigate about usage and potentialities of the use of algorithms coming from nature to produce generative visuals.

- Mediamatic is a cultural institution dedicated to new developments in the arts since 1983. We organize lectures, workshops and art projects, focusing on nature, biotechnology and BioArt in a strong international network.

- I am an experinced linux system administrator and i work as creative coder, mostly with Openframeworks and nodeJs.
- Timo Dufner is a musician, visual artist and in the field of media and information technology. As a VJ, he performs as an AudioVideo Live Act while he is also part of various production teams in electronic music. The main focus of his work lies in the exploitation of software failures, so called glitches, real time processing, live coding, machine learning as well as the direct interaction of sound and image.

- Federico Corradi is a Research and Development Scientist, his research focuses on artificial systems inspired by neuroscience, he's an expert in neuromorphic engineering.
Federico's interest lies in the field of neural networks, artificial intelligence, and neurobiological systems. His research is devoted to the development of bio-inspired unconventional computational machines comprising sensory systems and information processing devices based on neural networks. He is a silicon enthusiastic, he holds a Ph.D. in neuroscience and neuroinformatics. He is currently working in the micro-electronic industry. - Cinder/openFrameworks C++/nodejs/reactjs developer for projects: Videodrömm and Reymenta Visuals.
