"landing disconnections" is an experimental live act project in which film footage are mixed and remastered in real time, exploring the boundaries between what is real and what is “impossible”, asking the viewer to define his or her own compromise between belief and disbelief, music and the dichotomy between the beauty found in the finished art object and the creative process nightmare
"landing disconnections" gathers more than 1200 footage clips, mostly film shots, and the narrative is built, synchronized and edited live according to the music development. In each show nearly 500 to 600 footage clips are used to tell a story in real time. The project can be understood in the context of a real-time, interactive, non-linear narrative in which there is no prior coordination between DJ and VJ.
"landing disconnections" is an immersive, intimate experience connecting music, video, image and viewer.
