Aisa Araújo and Diana Combo form the audiovisual duo SOMA, combining the visual exploration of one with the sound proposal of another. Their collaboration is based on a principle of harmony between the two and defining exactly what they are creating is still an exercise under construction. Audiovisual performance, collage and appropriation, atmospheric fabrication, live cinema ... it can be everything, depending on the perspective from which one experiences and understands what this duo proposes to us.
With SOMA Part I the duo exploits the themes of identity, the body and self, juxtaposing and relating layers trying to fit in, on others, on social constructs, on oneself.
