Southern Italian DJ and producer Marco Erroi is the name behind projects like Common Series, XXXV Gold Fingers and Erroi. Born in 1980, he has a degree in sound engineering and has been qualified as a room acoustician since 2012. Marco is a vinyl addict DJ and also co-founder and owner of Common Series Ltd (a label distributed by 'Clone Records' releasing only his own music) and the house/techno events "Squat Party" held in various secret locations around the region.

In 2017, he released 'Common Series 05 (TIRANË) feat. Edmond Lila' (Albanian tenor) - a record of world music and electronics that was highly appreciated by Gilles Peterson. 2018 is the year in which he released his first two albums: 'Logica Aggregazione' - under the alias XXXV Gold Fingers - and 'Common Series 07 (LAS CANCHAS). The latter attracted the attention of several magazines and made it to the weekly Top10 with Suspiria by Thom York. In 2019, he launched the XXXV Edits project: a vinyl series focused on the dancefloor and exploring funk/soul/jazz. The tribute to Irakere - the Cuban band founded by Chucho Valdes - was particularly appreciated and aired by Worldwide FM.

He has been active in the local scene since the 90s as DJ and as a live performer since 2010 (Fuck Normality Festival, SeeYouSound Festival, Locomotive Jazz Festival, etc.). He joins the Clone family in 2019 for the Clone Monday stream in Rotterdam. His experience also includes soundtracking works: in 2018 a sonorization of dawn, in 2020 a live performance in a marine nature reserve, in 2021 during the artistic residency of Feelm by SEI Festival, where he created a soundtrack to the early cinema of Lumière and Edison together with other musicians (Valentina Magaletti, Francesco Farfa, Donato Epiro, etc.).

His influences are open to a wide variety of music that he has absorbed in twenty years of passionate work in this field. His pieces mix the organic and the synthetic, the environmental and the imaginary. His works are characterized by the use of field recordings, guitars, vocals, hand tambourines and synthesizers, resulting in an earthy electronic music - both cerebral and visceral.

As DJ, Erroi creates unique vinyl sets with a mix of house, techno, acid, funk, afro, experimental and ambient - all with an old-school aftertaste.
