Ben Sheppee founded Lightrhythm Visuals in 2003 to publish and promote the work of VJs and Audiovisual performers. The label has published around 60 artists across 5 continents over the course of 12 DVDs. Sheppee retrurned to Europe in 2010 after spending the last 10 years in US and Japan developng the labels network and discovering artists abroad.
Inspired by an international collection of visual works, Sheppee performs an audiovisual set flexible to galleries, clubs or cinema environments. It spans Electronica to Breakbeat and touches on themes of the environment and population with elements of humour. The three screen performance incorporates news of the moment and a matured design aesthetic.

In the last 10 years Ben has lived in Tokyo, San Francisco and London, developing the network lightrhythm visuals, which has evolved to become a diverse visual arts label. He originally started the label in 2003 with Jon Schwark in San Francisco; wanting to publish his own work and realizing there was no real outlet for VJ and AV contents at that time.
