Cyberformance is live online collaborative performance by distributed (remote) artists - for online audiences, and/or for gathered audiences. Performances range from the narrative, storytelling and theatrical through to poetic or conceptual works that sometimes employ similar techniques to collaborative DJ/VJing. Helen will show examples and discuss some of the tools used for cyberformance, with particular focus on UpStage and Visitors Studio. These are two purpose-built platforms for cyberformance.
