TouchViZ is a professional, portable VJ system for Apple's iPad 2.
Being able to perform visual content using a device with a small footprint such as Apple's iPad enables artists to go mobile and perform anywhere.
Projecting visuals from a moving vehicle or using multiple, network-controlled iPads for multi-screen projection are examples where using a thin, small and tablet-sized device has advantages over bigger, heavier and more expensive equipment. Natural and intuitive touch-screen input makes it easy to express ideas quickly without the need for additional input devices, and as portable touch-screen devices become more powerful and ubiquitous, more and more performers will take advantage of the possibilities, freedom and flexibility this new age of mobility introduces.
