Formed from an early age to music, Joseph Escribe is passionate about the guitar and all its possible transformations. Associating his musical life with scientific engineering studies, he worked more than 3 years at IRCAM. Fascinated by rock, jazz and electronic music, he developped his work of kneading the music and sound through improvisation. He has played in different bands, composed for theater, dance, video....

My artistic practice revolve around the notion of data poetics in the context of ubiquitous computing and explore alternative ways of representing and accessing digital data using sensors and custom written software.
