Reality is an interpretation of the world using our mind and senses. We can tell somebody how looks like a dog in the street or a nice sunshine.

Something very different is when we are trying to communicate an abstract feeling or emotion. Then, we use auditive or visual expressions to manifest our thoughts in a symbolic way; we give meaning to our constructions, and this meaning can generate diverse realities.

With a combination of visual and auditive resources we try to communicate our own perceptions of reality, this process can generate pleasure as a side effect.

The International Chiles are: Marco Calderón (marcus) is a new media artist and vj. He is a member of the simbioptic collective in México. His work is inspired by the audio-visual aesthetic with programming and interactivity.

I use different multimedia resources like video, audio, installations and multimedia interfaces. In this time I am in the middle of an artistic in Paris, France. Jose Farias played the violin for some years starting at the age of 6.

He stopped his musical studies to develop a stronger interest in science, specially Biology.

However he has been always in contact with music. In 2004 he got involved with the electronic scene in mexico when became the co-founder of a party collective in the city of Cuernavaca.

Also he started his DJ set project Arkaos playing in several parties in Mexico city.

His dj-sets are full with a mixture of minimal techno, electro and progressive trance; additionally, the atmospheres from ambient always play a special part in the musical journeys he gives to the audience.
