REFF preview: myRMX showcase and contest

myRMX will be presented as a fun thing to use, but also as an innovative tool for live performance.
The presentation will take place along with the RomaEuropaFAKEFactory workshops, in which myRMX will be discussed as a brilliant example of an innovative business model with an effective aproach to intellectual property, remixing, mash-up and content licensing.
During the LPM, artists will be invited to submit their music and sound samples to myRMX. A selection will form a mixPACK that will be distributed worldwide along with the application, with full credit given to artists and to LPM and REFF.

myRMX is a Symbian application that can be used on compatible smartphones allowing the user to remix music and samples and also to perform live.
Remixes can be shared and sent through MMS messaging, or they can even be played live during a performance, using an adapter.
