The presentation will introduce MÜSZI - a new member in the AVnode network, an artists-run community and art space in Budapest. Julia Barsony, founder, managing director and performance artist will present the self-sustaining model of this place, a mini republic within and beyond the republic of Hungary. The presentation will focus on MÜSZI's AV projects and its growing network of AV artists. This culminates in the festival Riders on the Mall (ROM), MÜSZI's AV festival having its first edition on 26-29 May 2016.

Müszi is an open minded meeting place which opened its doors in September 2012, and has become a junction in the cultural life of Budapest, hosting an average of 120 various events per month.
