The Kaos Series is a set of performances created to explore the relationships and possibilities between audio and video during a live act improvised performance. By the means of image manipulation and sound experimentation, creating duplication, provoking the errors, testing several apparatus and playing with the spoken and written word, the themes explored range from politics and culture to the impossibility of communication, the danger of embracing the comfort zone and the sense of being stuck in a cycle. Mr. Lazy & Mme. Leisure is a multidisciplinary artistic-duo developing work in performance art, video, music, installations, drawing and photography. The duo is active since 2010 and usually collaborates with other artists and collectives in Barcelona, Spain; Porto, Lisbon and Caldas da Rainha, Portugal.
Aisa Araújo is a visual artist and performer who develops work in the areas of video art, live cinema, audiovisual performance, conceptual photography, self portraiture and alternative photo printing processes, either solo, in duos like Mr.Lazy & Mme.Leisure and SOMA or with several multidisciplinary artists collectives.
She began her academic and professional training as an actress and co-creator of various projects within the performative arts with an emphasis on post-dramatic theater and performance art. After several years living and working in...
o_iElectricista (the iElectrician), is neither an technician nor an creative. He usually works with different inputs and tries to transform them into audio. Corrosive, chaotic, ironic and sometimes melodic, the improvisation, flows around the communication and the egocentric.
