Have you ever wondered how timelapses are created? Would you like to know the tips & tricks used by the pros? Kyle Lyons the creator of vjloops.com will spend 3 hours per day for 3 days teaching the basics of shooting your very first timelapse progressing to more advanced techniques like Hyperlapses (moving timelapse) and the Holy Grail technique (day to night). The course aimed at beginners and those wishing to improve their existing knowledge will cover everything you need to know to get started, included are some important editing workflows that create stunning results. On the last day take what you have learned and head out with Kyle to the streets of Amsterdam to start shooting your first timelapse!

THIS WORKSHOP ACCEPTS A MAXIMUM OF 20 ATTENDEES

PLEASE NOTE:
< Suggested items for students to bring >
- Camera DSLR preferred, or camera with timelapse function
-Tripod
- Intervalometer (available for 10-15 euros on Ebay) Make sure model is compatible with your camera
- Memory cards capable of holding 100’s of high quality photos or RAW images. (Minimum 16GB recommended)
- Fully charged batteries
- Clothing suitable for the weather (we will be outside for extended periods of time)

< DAY 3 / Practical >

Head out in the city to give students an opportunity to experience shooting timelapses with 1 on 1 assistance. Students will then be able to take the images they shot and apply the software techniques learned earlier to create a timelapse video. If students do not have cameras or equipment a free download of timelapse photos will be provided to allow students to practice the techniques.
