Class 1980, he obtains a specialist degree in ethnomusicological disciplines with a thesis on the extremization of the expressive code in popular field and a Master degree at AIGAM on the Music Learning Theory by Edwin E. Gordon.
Following the presupposition of the comparative approach and being interested in exploring the “concept of music” in it’s cultural and expressive meaning, he has direct experiences of different practices and languages (classical, jazz, ethnic and traditional music, including the more extreme and experimental sides of rock, electroacoustic, extemporary and impromptu), different techniques and instruments (guitar, electric bass, synth and samplers, percussions and other ethnic instruments), developing a high interest for writing and arranging music.
During these years, as a polyhedric performer, he has created and developed, extremely different musical productions:
Zeitlet X-emble - electroacustic project which has performed at the prestigious festival of contemporary music Nuova Consonanza
Juggernaut and MalClango - math-rock, post-rock, post-hardcore and psychedelia projects, which have 5 LP and one EP produced and distributed by Subsound Records and that had him involved in an intense activity of concerts around Europe
Allegro Capriccioso - didactic ensemble at the Accademia dell Filarmonica Romana of who he is a stable member since 2007 as a percussionist and arranger
Fuug and Cadilik, Bero Snaut & Belugas Quartet - the more recent projects, where he collaborates with different classical, jazz and progressive musician through his electronic set inspired by IDM, techno and ambient.
With his pseudonym Bero Snaut, he started a solo production of heterogeneous compositions which merge electronic music, soundtracks for movies that have never been done, Pindaric flights and space orchestras of gamelan
