The state of a matter is defined by the movement of its molecules: the more immobile they are, the more solid the matter is; the more they are in motion, the more the matter is transformed, first into liquid, then into gas. Each state has a motion that characterises it: atoms rotate, translate, and vibrate at different frequencies according to the energy that excites them; the more energy is produced, the more the temperature increases and matter becomes increasingly rarefied. Form wants to present this microcosm by reading the molecules through the form generated by their movement, from the more regular and crystalline movement of solids to the more random and chaotic movement of gases. Physics meets performance, a video mapping that gives shape to the invisible dance hidden behind the matter.
