NOISE FROM THE MATRIX is a performance that creates an atmosphere of post-porn and noise through the use of a contact microphone. The action aims to create a sound protest through female masturbation, raising the voice of our contested territory: a dissident body crying out for the right to pleasure and its freedom of action in this political territory.
NFTM is a performance that has been presented in different formats: Video performance, individual and collective performance, durational performance (4 hours) and online collaborative meta-performance. For this call where desires, needs, fears through rituals are the main axes. NFTM is a performance that plays with these concepts. Firstly, because it is a techno-feminist ritual where a female body is exhibited with its own desires and specific needs.

Nicol Rivera Aro (Osorno, 1990). Chilean Performer and Researcher. She is an Actress with a specialty in playwriting, graduated from the University of Valparaíso (2015). Currently is a PhD candidate in Philology at the Leipzig Ibero-American Research Centre, within the Institute of Romanistics at Leipzig University.
