AV Performance
Duration: 30 min.

Oceans pollution, everyone
have heard about it. It is not
a secret that plastic has
now become a component
almost ubiquitous in sea life.
Media show us this
reality, while governments seek
timidly to fight it, but
the situation does not seem to
improve at all. Why are we so
detached?
Art must do its part, as it is
able to reach the hearts and to
move consciences, art has
the undisputed task of pushing
people to deepen the
issue.
Self Pollution, an a/v live
performance can
dive into this depth.
Sound, image and interaction
are combined to give us a new
underwater identity. Is it possible to
get more
awareness through
the eyes and ears of animals
we trapped under a
cloak of pollution?
Probably the best way
to put a problem in the spotlight is to place a
subject at the heart of the problem.
And if this is true, what better way than trapping ourselves?
