Athens Digital Arts Festival (ADAF) is the annual international festival, showcasing contemporary and innovative forms of digital art by artists and scientists worldwide, for the past 20 years. With a central focus on the intersection of art, technology, and science, ADAF proudly represents Greece on the global digital art stage, highlighting the latest global innovations. Starting its journey in 2005 as Athens Video Art Festival, it is continuously expanding its content, to cover all kinds of innovative expression and creation.

ADAF’s goal is to constantly evolve, responding to our time’s artistic, scientific, and social needs while promoting new ideas. Continuously enriching its program, it now hosts 12 different categories of digital art: Video Art, Animation, Web Art, Digital Image, Interactive Installations, Games, VR/AR/XR, Performances, Talks, Workshops, ADAF Music, and ADAF Kids.

In 2019, ADAF broke through geographical boundaries by launching the global online platform ADAF ONLINE, allowing the festival to reach an international audience.

Athens Digital Arts Festival takes place every spring in the Historic Center of Athens, bringing iconic city landmarks to life, engaging local communities, and creating new pathways for visitors to explore the city uniquely and innovatively.
