More than fifty years after his political murder, *Notes for a Film about Pasolini* is an audiovisual ritual that seeks a synthesis between the sacred and the scandalous, moving towards experimentation. Images from Pasolini’s cinematic works, accompanied by the poet’s voice as curated by Tommaso Paris, are interwoven with a score for solo mandolin, in which traditional timbres are transported into electronic musical contexts, curated by Gaio Ariani.
