Brix & Pix is an immersive, poetic, and highly playful audio-reactive live performance that explores the territories of dreams, creative errors, and freeform construction.
Halfway between an electronic live set and digital art performance, the project is driven by a simple philosophy: "I lost the blueprint, but I kept the imagination." Here, technological accidents (glitch, circuit bending) and real-time improvisation become the building blocks of a fleeting, evolving architecture.
On stage, three complementary entities merge in real-time:
MurMur (The Breath Genius) infuses ethereal textures, organic synth pads, and airy harmonies.
Brik’O’Lor (The Builder) sculpts the rhythm, driving raw sound assembly and tactile textures.
Malin Renard (The Vision Weaver) translates this sonic energy into a live-reactive dance of pixels.
Aesthetics & Setup:
Visually, the show features high-contrast graphics against an abyssal black background, blending shiny plastic textures (evoking childhood building blocks), retro-arcade/RPG gaming aesthetics, and a hazy analog grain.
Paced by text cards — oscillating between philosophical poetry and surreal, glitchy humor (such as the sudden system-crash punchline: "PUT YOUR FACE IN THE WALL, WE'RE MISSING A BRICK.") — the performance unfolds across 7 narrative phases. From the mysterious awakening to the final convergence, the performers' pixelated avatars come to life, reacting in perfect symbiosis with the audio signal. An immersive journey where even a missing piece becomes part of the magic.

Author
Monsieur Nuage creates poetic and rhythmic visual worlds, blending mapping, VJing and animated graphic design. He collaborates with artists from dance, theatre, live and electronic music, developing bespoke visual creations for the stage, public space and hybrid projects.
Morvan is a pianist, synthesist, and sonic explorer with a deep background in live performance and sound design. Endowed with perfect pitch and a rich improvisational instinct, he bridges acoustic sensibility and electronic synthesis. Across solo acts and collective experiments, his work centers on fluid harmonies, vocal/breath processing, and dynamic, expressive keyboard play—crafting an immersive and ethereal sonic landscape.
Active in the electronic and live music scene since 2008, Brussels-based artist Ben Richard designs real-time visual experiences driven by synesthesia. Mixing motion design, VFX, 3D animation, and live AI tools, he constructs evolving digital landscapes that respond dynamically to live sound. From underground clubs with the Pixel Legion collective to global stages and custom set designs, his work blends technical expertise with a creative "MacGyver" spirit to reshape spatial reality.
