Junkspace Navigation is an audiovisual immersive project exploring new urban ecologies across the cities of Rome, Brussels, Berlin, and London.
The contemporary city is crossed by continuous flows that leave traces, generating residual matter that transforms urban space into a junk ecosystem. The performance Junkspace Navigation virtually depicts the city through its waste and the exchanges of matter and energy generated within it, reflecting on the loss of value of the urban object and turning waste into a starting point for a new ecology.
Through devices programmed according to their specific investigative methodologies, the performers navigate the Junkspace, generating visual material from sound, and overlapping sounds and images drawn from a database that acts as an open score. The database recreates the urban environment (Berlin, London, Venice, Brussels) by mapping collected video footage onto a spherical structure.
The result is a live audiovisual performance (15-25) offering the audience an immersive and rhizomatic experience in which the Junkspace takes shape concurrently with its navigation.

- I'm a designer and visual arts researcher working with post-qualitative methodologies.
My practice is based on a rhizomatic new materialist feminist perspective, with a focus on architecture, design, art and culture, educational and public projects.
I explore narrative practice as a way to preserve ideas that would otherwise be lost to induced collective amnesia, processes of invisibilisation, mechanisms of systemic exclusion and epistemic violence.
The challenge is to take action to break introspective silence by investigating feminist self-representation, feminist experiences, and... - Nicolaï Della Guerra is a pianist, composer, and improviser. His artistic practice unfolds at the intersection of composition and improvisation, driven by a personal language informed by contemporary music, jazz, minimalism, Eastern European musical traditions, and a strong modal sensibility. His work frequently explores the dialogue between piano, voice, electronics, and other art forms, examining the relationship between written material, perception, and transformation.
