Back to the Roots with Modern Power: The founders of the Queps Visual Art Group, launched in 1998, bridge the gap between nostalgia and the future. The concept: Kurt Komell and Videsizer perform entirely live on stage. While Kurt Komell plays classic, catchy video clips, Videsizer processes them in real time as they happen. The highlight? Videsizer uses the legendary Edirol V-4 mixer—a device that’s actually limited to an analog resolution of 576p. But as part of his visionary project “Edirol goes 4K,” he’s recreated the cult mixer’s entire functionality in TouchDesigner and drastically expanded its creative possibilities. Experience a unique live VJ set by two brothers who bring their decades of experience together in a synchronized audiovisual performance.
