Deterministic chaos is one of the most enigmatic properties we encounter whenever one tries to find mathematical models being as close as possible to “scientific (sub-)realities”. Its most prominent manifestation is known as the parable of the butterfly causing a thunderstorm along the pioneering research by the climate scientist Edward Lorenz. The present performance studies a translation of these sensible systems into audiovisual immersive listening experiences. Sound becomes controlled here by visuals that encode the hidden symmetries of chaos.
