p a t c h: audio_visual_lab is a fresh event on the map of Krakow presenting new trends and opportunities in digital, audiovisual art made with a new methods of work and communication. New technologies, open-source platforms, machinery and tools, which are developed and processed by the users, where ‘digitalism’ often co-inherence with ‘analogism’.

p a t c h is dedicated to present installations and other audiovisual works based on fields such as mapping, generative art, interactive art, DIY, net-art, video art, sound art, experimental film forms, projektionism, VJing. More here.

p a t c h is an opened event and invites everyone to participate in the workshops presenting multimedia tools in a broad sense, emerging outside the main trends and as an important element in the hands of contemporary artists. During the workshops, known Polish and foreign artists and lecturers are going to introduce to the participants the possibilities offered by new technologies and show how those can be used in practice. p a t c h is also a review of selected international AV performances and 2 audiovisual nights with an ambitious electronic music with stars from the Netherlands and Japan in Radar Gallery with live visuals.
