more into making and actions than reporting about it, or spending hours on SoMe, currently in Zurich, i am running the video departement of the largest theater in Switzerland in the independent scene( frei Szene). My world is full of video either as my current job as a video technicien, specialist of video projections for live performing arts, as well as in my creative endeavours where i mix live video or work on projects, looking after the video-digital content side of things, or even as an art director.i appreciate the balance and although i could mix live or work on video projection installations a little more, i am quite content and appreciate to live from one of my passions.

this time to be updated in next few days, basically nearly 12 years in Switzerland, with a few nice projects more than in 2012 !!

Vjing is a viral solution to deliver art to the eyes of the world, liberating it from the traditional context of museum and artspaces.
Lise’s work is a constant evolution: a search for the ultimate perfection, a quest to expose spontaneous beauty in unexpected situations, where the expression of human emotions meet and travel from abstract dimensions to everyday reality.

Back in Melbourne since 2007 Lise was headhunted as an emerging artist for her photographs. Start 2008, at the opening of a group exhibition in which she presented an a/v projection of 6000 clouds stills animated into a video, she remixed live the content of the projection. That was her first live show, as a visualist. She started vjing under the name of vj inxile. Since then, she participated, designed, produced, coordinated and curated several small and large scale showcases and projection installations at events such as Gertrude St Digital Projection Fest, Melbourne and Adelaide Fringe, Spring Fashion Week, Castlemaine Fringe, Northern Exposure, Brunswick Art Show, Next Wave, and music festivals such as Renaissance, Rainbow Serpent, Ostara, Maitreya, Parklife as well as vjing live regularly in clubs and (warehouse) venues accompanying local and international acts.
Alongside the live performances, vj INXILE is currently producing custom-made projections/ screens and motion graphics for clients. With a strong desire to expand the boundaries of vjing, she has joined in multi-disciplinary art collaborations, venturing in diverse territory per project. Directing her focus on the fusioning of live vjing with more traditional artforms, she is currently working on cross-platform projects such as interactive storytelling, light motion and live movement with a dance collective, compositing live video art and blending it within contemporary art installation, consulting services to peers artists on video spatial installations and on vjing, producing visual content for the House of Burlesque, a Vaudeville Theatre group and a Japanese Décor Crew. At her newly founded studio space in Melbourne, she is experimenting with in synch. visual creations for australian and international electronic music producers as well as researching 3D mapping. In 2012 she travelled back to Europe.

Background:
Born in 1976 in Switzerland, Lise from the age of 15 became actively involved in an artists-run space in her hometown, le Toit du Monde, participating in the production of happenings, alternative theater/dance events and the very first series of multi-media art/projections/ electronic music festivals in the region.
She left her homecountry at the age of 19. After a few years of travelling and alternating residence between Melbourne and Europe, she shot in 2002 Black Mountain Project, a surrealist work, her first digital video, from which to this day she draws inspiration and images for vjing.
She then spent 5 years residing in Zurich and travelling the european continent, capturing images. Exposed to the expanding swiss/european electronic music scene she was creating in 2003 dvds of visuals for clubs and parties. At this time Lise was also involved filming the Swiss band Les Femmes Friquees, an electro-punk burlesque act with live visuals. This was a life-changing interaction from which her passion for vjing emerged. From this point she begun the journey in teaching herself the art of producing and mixing live visuals. She also collaborated on local art projects. From 2004 to 2007 she was the assistant curator at the Swiss renown Galerie Elisabeth Staffelbach.

She currently works at Théâtre Vidy-Lausanne, in the video/projection department, in Lausanne, Switzerland.
