The studies at CERN are deeply connected to what digital artists do. The algorithms used for understanding the digital signals in the experiments are very similar to methods that are used in image and video processing. Furthermore, scientists have a certain level of understanding of reality, and the artists can stretch the rules of this reality to create new universes, new senses. In fact the creativity of the artists may be what the science needs to move forward in understanding the universe, both in terms of extending the frontiers of our knowledge, and in terms of spreading the scientific perception to the masses. The more you can stretch the ways of thinking, the easier you imagine possibilities, and among those possibilities one may become the next discovery in science or the next revolution in arts.
