Artistic Residency
Duration: 30 min.

This presentation showcases the Digilogia VJ Camp in Greece.
Digilogia after it's 3rd edition is still a mix of holidays and livestyle expression for audio and video artists and other performers within the locally offered oportunities and challenges. All in the form of a laid back meeting in Greece for holidays in a beautiful remote place by the sea. The intention is to spend creative time in a relaxed situation together at a great place, while everything still slightly be structured by a program of public performances. Digilogia always wanted to be a zero budget project and we still are. Therefore I share my toys and next time we are going to have a closing concert again to show the works inspired by the residency.
A technical infrastructure provided for your joy: Multiple different Projectors, several Public Displays and a couple of mixed TVs. PA-Speakers, a stage mixer suitable for instruments and mics, some light effects, Laptops, Raspberrys, Arduinos + sensors, lots of cables and small toys like input controllers and webcams.
Also deco stuff is available. It’s not the latest equipment due to the zero budget approach, but we had a lot of fun with it in the past and it still works fine.

- Tim Vis was born in 1975 (50+ now! oh my.) and grew up in a Radio & TV shop. His experience that his father was a enthusiast hobby photographer and his mother beeing a seller of dance music might have lead him into live Visualism.
After finding that niche, he started VJing activities in 2005 and developed his own styles using the strange but powerful Textmachine3D VJ software to kind-of paint with light and still is.
Right now I am into installations...
