This live performance is a demonstration of the software Bazik, based on a techno set from Dj Taktik. Bazik is a software that generate visual by reacting to the audio, easy to use, for beginner and pro. It’s a new way to produce visuals shows with only sound as input.

This concept was already presented in LPM 2015 @ Roma, but the performer was a vj, that adjust the visuals generate by the computer. This time, the performer (Taktik) play as a dj, focus on the music, and the computer is the vj, and generate the visual content in real-time, alone, like a type of AI.

// STORY

Bazik was born in the head of Maxime Dreyfus aka Taktik, french digital creator & dj.

Maxime is one of those guys able to appropriate technology to transform it into something beautiful and captivating. He is a passionate inventor, artist at heart. Formed multimedia and video games in Canada, he get started as a designer and developer in several digital agency in France. He love to create multimedia installations, and become quickly a pioneer of video mapping, it will appeal to famous sports brands and participate in prestigious product launches.

In 2015, Maxime decided to focus on his passions: music and entertainment. Because it is also an experienced Dj that explores over 15 years of electronic music instruments and turntables (aka Taktik).

During his partys, his experiments have leave unsatisfied because vjing does not leave enough place for instinct, play, live. There is often a long process of pre-produce content, and interfaces not playful enough for his taste. He worked with the idea of ​​making the vjing more easy and fun. Thus was born Bazik, his first AV live software. Today, Bazik is used in partys and shows all over the world.
